Welcome to Grade 3 Music!

Overview:
Music Theory: We will continue to learn about music notations using a notation software. Reading and writing on the staff using treble and bass clefs, key signature, time signature, rhythmic values, etc. We will learn about the 7 elements of music as well as basics of music theory: Intervals, Major Scales, Major chords and 1st species counterpoint

Ear Training/Sight Singing: Dictation (Rhythmic and intervalic) as well as sight singing short and simple diatonic melodies in stepwise motion.
