Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

* It's important that all students know their Bus Number and  Home School District. 
*If you are picking up your child at dismissal, please send in a 'WALKER' note to be given to the teacher during homeroom. Please be sure to indicate who will be picking up your child. 
*Please do not email your child’s teacher with changes in dismissal.
*This year we will also continue using PickUp Patrol to manage changes in dismissal.

PowerSchool 

When viewing Powerschool, the percentage "Average" shown for your child is a reflection of performance on Formal Assessments such as Quizzes and Tests ONLY.  These assessments account for 75% of your child's overall grade. Classwork and Homework will be calculated and averaged in at the end of the trimester. Your child's overall average may go up or down depending on his/her quality of work in these two areas. 
As per the Diocese of Rockville Centre, no student is allowed to receive a grade lower than a 55% on a test or quiz. When viewing Powerschool, please be aware of this policy. Late work will not be accepted after FIVE days past the due date. Your child may submit the work up to the fifth day, but please know that points will be deducted.
