SCHOOL CLOSED - Martin Luther King Day

Eureka Math Videos On Google Classroom
I'm not sure if everyone is aware that I've posted Eureka math videos on the Google Classroom for every lesson we've done in class. This is a great way to help review all of the math concepts we have covered in math. Also IXL.com and ABCya.com are excellent math websites for your child to practice any of his/her math skills. Also, iReady is also another resources to practice your child's reading and math skills. Just email me if you need their sign on information for iReady.
                                  Reading Logs
I've encouraged the children to read their Journey weekly story at home during the week for more practice. They can either take the book home or families can use the Thinkcentral log in information that was sent home in September to access the story online. They can enter this reading time in their reading logs.

    ***************************************************
Please check this classpage daily.  This is an essential way for me to provide information to parents and students.

Also, please stay up to date with all school information by checking the St. Patrick School website and calendar on a regular basis!

If you are unable to access your child's google account? Email Miss Whittier at swhittier5629@spsbayshore.org

Our regular school day begins at 8:15 am and dismissal is at 2:40 pm. Please be aware that children will be marked late by the office if they arrive past 8:15 unless the delay is due to a late bus.
    **************************************************************************************************
                                       Snack

Snack should be a small healthy snack from home.  Students may bring in a water bottle. Please be sure that your child's water bottle does not leak and that they have enough water for the day so they do not have to leave the room to get more water. Please do not send in metal bottles.

Please send in a towel. I like to bring them outside to eat snack if the weather is nice.

    *************************************************
                                       Lunch
Students can bring lunch from home or they may buy  lunch.  To purchase lunch for your child, please see the St. Patrick School website for the link to order lunch.
    *************************************************
                                    MASKS

Students are expected to wear masks at all times while indoors. The only exceptions are while eating snack or lunch, during gym class, and during a "mask break".
Mask wearing is optional while outside.  The mask must cover his/her mouth and nose.  Be sure that the mask is not too big for your son/daughter so that the mask does not slide down. Please review  these safety measures.with your son/daughter .
    *************************************************Take-                            Take Home Folders
Please check your child's Take-Home folder each day.  Any paperwork from the office will be in this folder, some of which you might need to fill out and return to me. Please return any such paperwork back into this folder. Any completed classwork and tests will also be in this folder and stays home.
                                Classwork Folders
This folder will contain work that your child has not completed and is still working on in class. It should stay in school. If your child should take it home by accident please send it back.
