It is my pleasure to welcome you and your child to First Grade! This will be a wonderful year full of learning and fun, not to mention, an incredible year of change. You will be amazed as you watch your child bloom as a friend, reader, mathematician, writer, scientist, thinker, and so much more.
Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new school year! Here are some suggestions that will help you and your child make the transition into First Grade a great one.
Class time: 8:15-2:40
Snack: This should be a small healthy snack from home, as the school does not provide snack.
Lunch: Students will either bring a lunch from home or they may buy a lunch. If your child is buying lunch, please discuss the lunch options with them each day as it can cause some confusion with all the choices they get.
Folders: Please check your child's home folder daily for any notices and homework.
Birthdays: Birthdays may be celebrated with small NON-FOOD items such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc...
If there is a change in your child's transportation, PLEASE log onto the P.U.P app to make any changes.
As always, if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me. I am looking forward to an amazing school year!
