Walkers:
If you are changing your child’s method of dismissal, please send in a written note to your child’s homeroom teacher in the morning. If you are picking your child up at dismissal, please write a note indicating he/she will be a 'walker'. Please indicate who will be picking up your child. Please do not email your child's teacher with changes in dismissal. S.P.S. will continue to use the PickUp Patrol App this year to manage dismissal. Thank you!

SPS is using the i-Ready Diagnostic adaptive assessment program to identify the academic strengths and weaknesses and opportunities for growth of each student. As per DRVC, students must pass 2 lessons per week in ELA and Math. There is a link provided on the page below with additional information.I-Ready.

Our 7th & 8th graders will be signed up for Newsela this year. Students will read and respond to a variety of articles connected to national and world news, politics, the economy, and other topics of interest currently in the news. Students are encouraged to read selected articles in the appropriate class binder several times to build comprehension, ask critical thinking questions, and analyze content.
