Honor Roll

From the SPS Handbook...
Students in grades 7 and 8 are eligible to qualify for Honor Roll. Honor Roll will commence with the first report card. Honors are awarded to those students who have demonstrated a thorough and consistent understanding of grade-level standards in the 5 major subject areas: religion, math, ELA, social studies, and science. It is an honors requirement that students receive a satisfactory mark in effort and conduct in all subject areas, including Specials (Art, PE, etc) and personal growth.

Principal Honors: 96-100%
First Honors: 90-95 %
Second Honors: 85-89%

Dress Code/Grooming
All students should be adhering to the SPS Dress Code as outlined in the handbook. Several reminders have been sent home. Thank you!

i-Ready

SPS is using the i-Ready Diagnostic adaptive assessment program to identify the academic strengths and weaknesses and opportunities for growth of each student. As per DRVC, students must pass 2 lessons per week in ELA and Math. There is a link provided on the page below with additional information about I-Ready. I-Ready incentives and contests will be running throughout the year to encourage students to keep trying their best. Thank you for all of your support at home.
